In a March 23rd speech before the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Minnesota’s apparently anti-Semitic Representative, Ilhan Omar, had the following to say:
“CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something, and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.”
Who were those people, and what did they do? Omar doesn’t seem interested, and dismisses it all with a wave of her hand.

Her efforts to minimize the deaths of 3,000 people at the hands of Islamic terrorists have not gone on unnoticed. Nor has her vocal support of CAIR – an outfit widely regarded as a front for Hamas and listed as a terrorist organization in the United Arab Emirates. In fact, since the video of her remarks surfaced, the condemnation has been swift and sharp.
Here’s Rep. Dan Crenshaw of Texas, along with the video of Omar:
First Member of Congress to ever describe terrorists who killed thousands of Americans on 9/11 as “some people who did something”.
Unbelievable. https://t.co/IKtoZWWmIT

Omar also mocked hundreds of “entertaining” pro-Israel protesters who were outraged by her repeated anti-Semitic comments by saying, “I don’t think any of them realize that people like myself and many of the people in this room could care less about what they have to say.”

Just…wow.
One wonders if Nancy Pelosi will repeat her argument that Omar is, in essence, not smart enough to understand what her words mean….

“I do not believe that she understood the full weight of the words,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says about Rep. Ilhan Omar’s controversial comments on Israel.
“I feel confident that her words were not based on any anti-Semitic attitude.” https://t.co/qZ4F4OogKj pic.twitter.com/dLPVaxEaQO

…Or is she ready to admit Omar is a problem?
Hey, Speaker Pelosi, does Ilhan Omar still “not understand the weight of her words,” or are you ready to admit this is a problem?
