Elizabeth Warren's Medicare for all scheme is savaged as"ridiculous" and "bad policy" by the folks at... MSNBC?

Of all the bad health care plans that have been floated by the 2020 Democratic field, Elizabeth Warren’s has to be the worst.  Not only is it a single payer system, not only will it reduce quality of care and medical options, it’s an authoritarian mess that will strip every single American of their current plan, whether they like it or not. She’s not trying to hide any of that, either. It’s all right out in the open. Like Bernie, she’s going full-socialist.  At least Joe Biden has the decency to lie to us with the old “if you like your plan you can keep your plan” canard.

What Warren doesn’t like to discuss is how much it will cost.

The best-case estimate is that Warren would need to raise $34 trillion new tax dollars.  That’s if it comes in at or under projections (it won’t, because federal programs never do) and it’s in addition to what we’re already spending. She likes to claim that the middle class won’t face tax increases, but there’s simply no way she can pay for such a boondoggle otherwise.

She could tax the rich straight into oblivion, and it wouldn’t cover the costs.  She could hammer corporations, which would destroy the economy and ultimately hit the middle and lower classes the hardest, and it still wouldn’t get her the money she needs. The math just isn’t there.

Simply put, she has no answer as to how she’s going to fund her plan – because it simply doesn’t work.

You expect Republicans to call her out on this. They’ve been woefully quiet on healthcare reform, offering little in the way of their own actionable solutions, but you get why they’d attack Warren’s efforts. What you don’t expect to see is MSNBC tear her to shreds.

Look at these clips, in which she’s accused of “dodging,” while her plan is described as a “ridiculous” “bad policy” in which “nothing adds up.”

Morning Joe even points out that the whole thing is built on the foundations of something that’s already failing…

Brutal.

So, have the folks at MSNBC finally realized that there are federal expansions and government programs that are too big to succeed?  Or have they figured out that people like Warren and Sanders have no hope of winning a national election, so they’re trashing them in hopes of getting Biden (or someone else) the nom?
