The story so far…
A billionaire pedophile, who lives a life filled with Bond-villain accouterments such as a private island lair, helicopter, and submarine – not to mention a creepy girlfriend who can pilot them – is arrested. He’s deeply connected to many of the world’s most powerful families, has a mysterious array of phony passports, owns a secret room containing a supposed safe full of evidence, and commissioned a picture bizarre painting of Bill Clinton wearing the infamous “blue dress.” He was a degenerate rapist who sat atop a global sex trafficking ring.
He’s shuffled off to prison, and most observers make half-jokes about how he won’t survive long enough to see a trial.

Then, he’s placed on suicide watch. Guards are supposed to check him every half hour and there are supposed to be cameras on his cell block at all times. He’s suddenly removed from suicide watch, the cameras mysteriously fail, the guards allegedly fall asleep, and the world’s most high-profile prisoner supposedly hangs himself. A private autopsy reveals broken neck bones consistent with a murder, and his brother claims his corpse had unusual bruising that could have come from being restrained.
Now we’ve learned that the two sleepy guards were offered a plea deal…. and rejected it.

Via the New York Post:
Federal prosecutors investigating Jeffrey Epstein’s death in a lower Manhattan lockup offered plea deals to two correctional officers who were guarding the pedophile, but the officers declined the deal, sources familiar with the probe told The Associated Press.
News of any plea deal talks suggests prosecutors are mulling bringing federal charges against officers at the Metropolitan Correctional Center, where the multi-millionaire hanged himself in August.

You may be wondering what the feds were demanding in exchange for the deal. Well….
The guards are accused of failing to check on Epstein in his cell every half hour, as they were required to do, and falsifying reports to cover up their failure to do so.
As part of the deal, authorities wanted the correction officers to admit they’d doctored the reports, The AP reported.
The way I see it, one of three things happened here.
- The official story is all true. The guards did fall asleep, the cameras broke, and the records were falsified. I don’t know a single living soul who believes this, but it’s not impossible. Under this scenario, the guards would have rejected the deal because the feds didn’t offer enough in exchange for their pleas, or because they know the government can’t prove its case.
- The official story is true, but the guards’ lawyers know that no one believes it. Under this scenario, the attorneys simply think they can beat the rap because no jury will ever buy the incredible display of incompetence and coincidence required to make things turn out the way they did.
- The one everyone is thinking. The conspiracy theories are true, Epstein was ‘suicided’ and the feds wanted a pair of fall guys to shore up their story. Whatever the government offered wasn’t quite enough, and they’re not willing to play ball. The problem here is that, if Fox Mulder’s ‘powers that be’ were able to get to Epstein, you would think they’d have no problem leaning on a pair of lowly security guards.
Honestly, at this point, everything is on the table. If you don’t buy the official story, no one will blame you. It’s hard to believe the system could be this incompetent, it’s hard to believe Epstein killed himself, it’s hard to believe the media spent years burying his story, and it’s hard to believe he was allowed to commit his crimes for as long as he did.
