Immediately after Kamala Harris withdrew from the 2020 race, the accusations of misogyny and racism began over at MSNBC…
MSNBC panel: @KamalaHarris faced a “double edged sword” of being a black woman.
Wallace: “There is a gender piece here that we still suck at talking about.”
Sharpton: “Women are held to a different standard and black women especially.” pic.twitter.com/SfAb2oaDzS

That wasn’t the end of it. In fact, it’s continued at a steady pace ever since. If you think they’ve dropped this concept, you should think again. It’s everywhere.
A quick spin around the interwebs will reveal dozens of articles – all lamenting the racism and misogyny that destroyed poor, innocent, Kamala Harris. Why, just this morning, The Hill treated us to the following:
California Sen. Kamala Harris’s exit from the race on Tuesday underscored the degree to which candidates of color have struggled to gain traction in the Democratic primary.
At the moment, it appears that the party’s nominee is likely to be one of four white people — former Vice President Joe Biden, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), or South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg.
And with Harris gone, the remaining six candidates who have qualified for the December debate are all white. Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) and billionaire activist Tom Steyer are the other two candidates to have met the requirements.
…Democrats pride themselves on a racially diverse party, and the plight of candidates of color is raising new concerns about a primary calendar that gives significant weight to Iowa and New Hampshire.
With all of that as prologue, I’m going to do something I rarely do. I’m going to defend Democrats.
Not the leadership, mind you. They believe that all minorities – especially African Americans – must think and vote exactly alike. Dare to disagree, and they label you a “traitor,” an “Uncle Tom,” a “coon,” or a “House N****r.”
Believe me. If you work for a prominent black conservative, you see it on a daily basis. It’s the definition of racism, and it’s a rock-solid principle of the modern DNC. After all, if people start thinking for themselves, they’ll never win another election.
No, I’m going to defend what people used to consider rank-and-file, blue collar, Dems. Despite what the media and their party elites may claim, they’re not a rabid mob of woman-hating racists.
The current Democratic Party is built upon the concept that there is endemic, systematic, racism in this country. We’re not talking about a few deranged skinheads, mind you. No, the Dems want you to believe that hatred permeates virtually everyone and everything. They need that to be the popular narrative, and that message has emerged as their party’s defining characteristic.
This is a relatively new phenomenon. Once upon a time, the Democrats positioned themselves as the party of the everyman – the working-class Joe who just wanted a better deal. Those days are long gone. Now, they’re the party of socialism, massive and oppresive taxation, transgender bathrooms, and fascist control of healthcare, guns, speech, and private property rights.
They know that’s not a winning message. So, their victories rely on the idea that they can keep minority voters – individuals they view as simpletons – in line. They maintain their hold by convincing entire identity-based voting blocs that “the other guy” has done something to make their lives worse. It’s “rule by fear” and it’s the central, driving, theme behind everything they do.
How does that relate to Kamala Harris? Well…. Dems know their position is total B.S.
The nation is not a hotbed of hatred and racism. Those blue-collar voters who used to be their core constituency aren’t foamy-mouthed racists. Barack Obama’s election proved that they’re quite the opposite. They don’t hate women either. They just want solid, non-crazy, candidates who present them with what they consider to be real value.
To be extremely blunt: Harris wasn’t driven out by bigots and misogynists. Her career ended because she’s an awful person, with a horrific track record, and she was a terrible candidate.
She has a history of keeping people in jail despite knowing of exculpatory evidence. This alone should have disqualified her. However, Dems let it slide because they don’t really care about the incarcerated or criminal justice reform. Unfortunately for her, the negatives didn’t end there.
She also had a weird habit of giggling through the debates. Her state is a mess, she has no understanding of the 2nd Amendment, and – at every turn – she proudly presented herself as a tax-and-spend authoritarian. THAT, along with Tulsi Gabbard’s savage takedown, is what destroyed her chances. It wasn’t “anti female and black sentiment,” it was her own history.
So, why are Dems portraying other Dems as racist members of the he-man woman hater’s club?
It’s because Kamala Harris’s positions are the positions of the modern Democratic Party, and they were completely rejected. Since they can’t allow that to be the case, they have to find another excuse. Even if it targets members of their own party, “racism and misogyny” is the charge upon which they’ve settled. It lets the bad ideas off the hook, while it simultaneously serves to keep “their” minorities in line.
Know what they’re doing.
Refuse to fall for it.
