Well, it looks like Ilhan Omar could have bigger issues than affairs, campaign finance irregularities, and a possible green-card marriage to her brother. How could it possibly get worse, you ask? Well…. what if she’s a paid foreign asset working on behalf of the Qatari government? What if she passed ‘sensitive’ federal information to Iran via middlemen?
That would be worse, right?
That’s the accusation being made in a Florida court, as reported by the Jerusalem Post. The story has yet to hit the mainstream, but it’s spreading like wildfire over on Twitter…

BREAKING: It is being reported that Ilhan Omar was recruited by a foreign government (Qatar),
Received funding from the foreign government,
And passed sensitive and confidential information through intermediates to Iran.
Oh my God.

The bombshell comes from the testimony of a Kuwaiti-born businessman named Alan Bender, who testified from Canada – via live video feed – in the Florida trial of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani. As the Jerusalem Post reports:
The Qatari emir’s brother stands accused of ordering his American bodyguard to murder two people, and of holding an American citizen hostage. His deposition, obtained by Al Arabiya English, was authenticated by the attorney for the plaintiffs, according to the publication.
…Bender told the Florida District Court that he met with Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials.
According to his sworn deposition, the three officials told him: “If it wasn’t for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends.”
Bender testified that the officials asked him to recruit American politicians and journalists as Qatari assets, and that when he objected, was told that several prominent figures were already on the payroll. Omar was described as the “jewel in the crown,” he said.

Qatar “recruited Ilhan Omar from even way before she thought about becoming a government official… They groomed her and arranged the foundation, the grounds, for her to get into politics way before she even showed interest. They convinced her,” he added.
As to what Omar is accused of doing…
Omar was said to also have passed information to Qatar which was subsequently handed along to Iran, and was actively involved in recruiting other American politicians to likewise work for the west Asian Islamic country, Bender testified.
“The best thing money can buy is American officials, because they are the cheapest of the cheapest-costing officials in the world,” the Qatari officials were said to have told him.
Right now, everyone is waiting for more details. We have no way of knowing where the story will lead. Omar has denied the accusations via a written statement, given by her spokesperson to the Jerusalem Post. It labels the story “misinformation,” a “conspiracy theory,” and an “outlandishly absurd” falsehood. That language is similar to the language she used when describing similar reports about her affairs and a possible green-card marriage to her brother.
Is the Qatari story the real deal? Honestly, we just don’t know. If it turns out to be accurate, it would probably be one of the single greatest scandals ever to hit the House of Representatives and the Democratic Party. If it’s bogus, it would be a massive smear that would have similarly huge international repercussions.

So far, all of this week’s reporting stems from two sources, the Jerusalem Post article, which is sourced from Al Arabiya. However, that’s not the first we’ve heard of it. Back in July, Imam Tawhidi (AKA Twitter’s ‘Imam of Piece’) posted a thread outlining exactly this issue.
Take it all with a grain of salt, and treat it as a rumor for now, but it’s a story to keep an eye on. True or not, we’ll obviously follow up when we know more.
In the meantime, if Dems are genuinely concerned about foreign entities “grooming assets” like Tulsi Gabbard, shouldn’t they also be demanding an investigation into Omar?
Hello Ilhan Qatar @IlhanMN
Did I not say in July that you will be exposed as a Qatari agent?
I don’t lie.
Now wait for the bombshell report.
Thank you. https://t.co/kqQK3X3OFn
